Anyone ever been chased by a dog?

I've been chased by a dog many times, the adrenaline rush is insane, its like your running for your life. This one time i was walking to steak n shake, and i took a short cut and this guy was playing fetch or something with his dog, i didnt think anything of it and just kept walking past them untill the dog started running after me, i was like "fuck!" and tried to outrun it, the dog almost caught up with me until i jumped on the hood then the roof of someones car, that set off an alarm and the dog ran away from that. After that i got the hell out of there (black dude by a car with an alarm going off, they wouldnt beleive a dog chased me if i told them )

i got caught by a german shepard when i was about 13. i remember i had those old starter jackets, zip up, not the pullover, and he bit my arm but got all coat and wouldnt let go. i hit him in grill a few times until his owner got him off me. needless to say i was scared shitless.

I've been chased by several dogs in my day, being the avid cyclist and all. One time in particular though, I remember it was a german shepard mix of sorts. When on a bike you can always tell sometings up as soon as the dog hits the pavement. There is that destinctive sound the claws make. This one came at me faster than I could kick it into gear. Now, for those of you not familiar with the sport of cycling, the shoes are not your everyday tennis shoes. They are hard with a rigid sole. All I remember was me kicking it in the head and it squeeling then hitting the road hard! Now I love dogs but ,this one was out for blood, and I gave it to him! The thing didn't even move after that.

dog bit my arm once when i was a kid. not too bad, didn't break the skin, but still scared the shit out of me.
i have a friend who when he was a baby, had a dog jump up in his stroller and bit his face off. family got like $20,000 settlement

Use to have to pass this one house where

A classic place with rusted stripped autos and boarded windows.
A loosely closed gate was the only thing keeping the dog at bay
so everytime I wanted to go to 7-11 I'd have to deal with Cujo
causin a shit storm of sound but once and a while it would get loose
and reek havoc in the neighborhood. While walking to 7-11 one time
I noticed the gate was open and then you get that look when
you lock on to something and think "Oh Shit"
Here comes this dog who wants to eat something, preferable you.
So I ran for the nearest fence which feels like slow motion
as you jump it, flip over then tumble down the concrete enbankment of the sewer
All wet, covered in slime giving the dog the finger as it growls behind the fence
before running off into traffic or at someother unlucky person.
Thankfully someone shot the fucker
Gotta love the rural life.

once when i was 9 or so. these people across the street had two doberman pinchers (sp?)
and they were pretty mean dogs. but i remember running across their lawn one day and the dog started chasing me, the lady was yelling "stand still, stand still!" but obviously at 9 years old you're thinking "stand still!" ??? um no, run! well that dog sure as fuck tackled me and bit me a few times. so what did i learn here.. the next time i was in this situation and the dog was chasing me i stood still, and the dog started licking me.

I was attacked by a pit bull, he tore my leg up pretty bad! I was wearing shorts and he attacked me from behind. I had no idea until I woke up, when he got me he pulled me down and I hit my head and it knocked me out. Some guy got the dog off of me and got me bandaged up and took me home. If it wasn't for him, who knows what would have happened to me. Incidently, the dog's name was "chopper" and was put down after that. Apparently I wasn't the only one he attacked.

i was chased by a chow when i was 7 years old. one of the scariest moments of my life. i climbed up on the mailbox for one and a half hours while the fucking piece of shit just circled the mailbox growling. finally, my father came out with a pellet gun when he realized what happened and started pelting the dog and it took off. serves it right. i have hated chows ever since.

37 stitches when I was 3 years old from my grandmas dog. I stepped on his tail and he went fuckin crazy on me. My uncle had to hit the dog with a bat to get him off of me. After that I never had a problem with that dog or any other dog. When I was released for the hospital the same dog that attacked me showed more affection toward me than anyone else. He would follow me everywhere I went, almost like he was protecting me. We had a Farm as a weekend house when I was younger and if I left the house at 5am to go ride me four wheelers or whatever I was doing he was right there and never left my side until I was in the house.
