would someone care to tackle the demographics of music? seems like certain genres are more prevelant in certain demographics. like for instance, country music is huuuge in southern areas. why does music seem to be so confined in demographics?

i still don't understand why white people listen to rap/hiphop

my reason was i lived in the ghetto and i was around brothas alot of the time...so basically it jsut in the area or culture of where i lived.....

in college we had a pirate radio station in our house and all the brothas would come over and boradcast over the radio...of course they always played hip hop so i kinda got used to the music



i cant stand the music now..
