That goal was scored in some mini tournament just before World Cup 98 if I remember.
He did something similar from near the corner flag in La Liga from open play.
And he's still worth seeing now IMO.Comment

yea I remember seeing that one.
He had a sweet goal in a friendly match agains paraguay I think towards the end of the world up qualifiers, similar. And that was only last year.
But he is getting old. My guess is he will not be with Real Madrid next year (especially since they are signing someone who plays his exact position (Ashley Cole ?? I can't remember)).Comment
