that audiomatique mix must be a live mix, there's some pretty bad mixing at about 28 mins. Regardless, it's really good, the tracks are dope. Thanks for the recommendation.

Just picked up Anthony Pappa's new release "Moments", 25 minutes into cd 1 pretty tight so far, starting a slow build up (minimal-tech building into tech-house)


EDIT:

** cd 1 complete, definetely not the progressive Pappa of old, but this is a solid set, looking forward to disc 2

I"ll have to check this out.. I haven't heard Pappa in ages.. so a change might be good.

Addicted vol 2 - Gui Boratto

Kompakt man-in-Brazil Gui Boratto raids his hard drive for his first compilation. 'Addicted to Volume 2' arrives in October.

Boratto has had a big 2007, releasing a debut long player ('Chromophobia'), penning a genuine indie-pop anthem ('Beautiful Life') and playing a string of live dates across the States and Europe.

Next up for Boratto is another first: a mix CD. Spotters will note that Boratto isn't actually a DJ so the album was recorded using Ableton Live, piecing together tracks from like-minded producers such as Stephan Bodzin, Minilogue and Sascha Funke. "People can really hear what I?m into on this CD," explains Boratto. "But because I?m not a DJ, I approached this as a musician. I am always working in my studio so I don?t have the time to go to the store!" As you'd expect, Boratto's Kompakt labelmates The Rice Twins, The Field and of course Supermayer make appearances too.

yes i am, i didn't even know this was close to coming out, and then i find out it drops in a couple weeks. I really enjoyed the last cd he did, so I am looking very forward to this new one.
