                      a lot of traffic lights just simple light detectors and if you flash your brights quickly they will force a change. but that thing is gold.

                      FYI NYFD have a link to DOT HQ for emergency light changes. too bad everyone in NYC is too fucking dumb to realize they actually need to clear a path for the giant red truck with sirens and flashing lights. you will see an ambulance or fire truck sit at a light for 5 minutes sometimes simply because of gridlock traffic and fucking idiots.
