I was soooo disappointed in the turnout for this show. I walked into the club at 11:30 and couldn't believe what I saw: 10 people. I swear to god... it might even be an overstatement. Infusion came on at 12:30 and by then there was a good 50-60 people there, but it was the smallest turnout I've ever seen at Kabal. Yes, it was a Thursday, but when Zabiela was here a few months ago on a Thursday he had the place fucking jammed from wall to wall! Pathetic. Infusion was here last November and played to a crown of no more than 100, three quarters of which were standing at the bar the whole time. I think it was a Tuesday night on gay night at the club they played at. I wouldn't be surprised if they never come back to Kansas City after this... they need to be booked on a Saturday night so KC can represent
their set was pretty kickass for the first 45 minutes. by 1:30-1:45 it started to get very club-trancey, which I expected, but not an hour into their set. I ended up leaving so I could be home by 2, up by 7, and at work by 8. It was nice to get out, but I just feel ashamed for these turnouts. I'll up a couple pictures when I get home and you'll see what I'm talking about.

^^ well my friends who had never seen them and made the trip after i talked them out of seeing kimball collins here (seriously....no SERIOUSLY) said it was one of the best shows they've ever seen.....

So I made it back from checking out Infusion. My ears and head are ringing and I can barely hear the TV. I'm eating some Mexican food leftovers I had earlier. I'm going to be severely hung over tomorrow.
Infusion tore the roof off...fucking rocked it.
It's too bad they played at a club that's owned by some mutha fukas. Bullshit last minute charge to see them in the other room
