glad to see conservative politicians and monkey appointees can tell the AIDS and cancer victims that pot doesnt help them. anyone got a syringe and a AIDS patient willing to donate some blood???
every person who has been in clinical trials for med pot while under chemo or aggressive AIDS drugs has said it really does help ease sick stomachs and relax patients... sorry this kinda hits home with a relative who had to move to cali after breast cancer.

this just bugs me cuz my aunt anne maria had to move out to an LA suburb after she was diAgnosed with cancer in order to even try it. she fully acknowleges that of course it doesnt stop the disease, but after 3 hours of chemo, its the only thing that lets her at least sit in a chair and relax for awhile.
the medical term ""sour stomach"" is also greatly helped here. it is when, simply put, your stomach rejects any food whatsoever. you might be hungry, but it actually feels greatly uncomfortable to eat.

Ah man that is SO FUCKING IGNORANT! A bunch of old farts that go radical when they hear the word "marihuana"... The most pathetic about this is that (I presume) hold some sort of degree in medicine or toxicology and still they won't see the objective facts. The fact that they immediatly stigmatize it as a backdoor to legalisation is outrageous.
So what if smokin' weed is harmful for your lungs, concentration and what not? Wake up call mutherfuckers: when you've got AIDS or cancer you're most likely gonna die from that than from a few joints.
I understand your outrage Sean: my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer six years ago. Luckily the tumor didn't spread so she didn't need chemo, but she did suffer from the radiation sessions and the hormonal treatment. When you add chemo to the equasion, it's a fuckin' sadistic to deny a patient whatever form of relief available.
May those rightious ignorants all develop testicular cancer
exactly, im not advacting making it legal as chewing gum, but dude. even if they want to run the treatments out of a police station and have the patients be forced to get a ride home, do it. it can be controlled that way and the only way the med pot would be on the street would be due to a corrupt cop or doctor.

Its weird how the US goverment is so hung up on weed
They have no problem with prescription drug addicts
or alcoholics, meth heads, coke fiends, etc.
Even though it seems most people in the US
accept weed as part of its culture
The stigma of what it stands for: counterculture, hippiedom, etc
just doesn't sell to well on the 5 oclock news.
With or without a medical card: Weed will live on.
The FDA still did not deny weed will give the munchies

Let me get this straight.
So white-middle class Americans have been told by their Television sets to be fearful of:
1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...
let's face it, there isn't a shortage of either of those...
We're not talking about cocaine or smack here tho'. It's easier to find someone who grows mary j in his backyard than it is to find a corrupt doctor or cop who would provide you with med pot.
And even still: pot (at least up to a certain quantity) has been decriminalized in Belgium and Holland for years now. Did that lead to nation of stoners? Nah, recent surveys in Holland even show that the number of puffers has even gone down. The FDA is hiding behind prejudices. Nothing more, nothing less
and the only way the med pot would be on the street would be due to a corrupt cop or doctor.
corrupt doctors, nope we have none of those , but if you'd like some "legal" (read: produced by pharmy corps who the doctors/politicians get money from) painkillers let me just ask "How many would you like?" "Would you like some refills with that?" "Come back in a few months and I'll get you another prescription."
Seriously, I asked a doctor for some painkillers for a very legitimate reason (not wanting anything too strong or addictive, just wanting to ease the pain should need be) and without me saying another word, I'm listening to him talking himself into prescribing me stronger and stronger drugs. I ask you why? Is that really necessary?
We have a nation of drugged-up zombies running around on "legal" speed and so on, who don't give a shit about anyone but themselves, yet pot is the evil one. And we wonder why we have a politically disinterested population. F&*kin gov't with their heads up pharmies asses!
...not that I'm against drugs in any respect. I just believe in moderation, not daily-constant use when not necessary.

ACTUALLY ben, im surprised at you. you know that they all forgo thier portfolios at that position along with pres, VP, the secretaries, etc etc. all in blind trusts. they dont even know what thier portfolio holds after a month or two. which is also why i hate ppl who say cheney is making money off the company. he isnt. he might be helping them indirectly (but with full knowledge), but he aint making money off it.
