    Smoking cigarettes

It has been 3 weeks since I quit cold turkey!

I'm glad that the hardest part is now over!

    congratulations!

im not in that place yet unfortunately, ive tried to quit 5 or 6 times, never works out

but hey, they say on average it takes 8 times to actually successfully quit (so my roomie told me)

    keep up the good work!

it seems like half the packs i smoke are my "last pack" then i get up and buy more on the way to work in the morning

i once quit for three months, and i remember walking outside and taking a deep breath in the cold winter air. it really felt great, but i am weak and i failed to keep it up.. you'd think after three months it would be easy to say no, but i am a sucker for peer pressure

last packs!! hahaha i've been on my last pack so many times, then my friends come back from greece with a carton and i say this is my last carton!

the only way to quit is cold turkey. well done Nigel. I will quit one day, just not today.

congrats! and good luck the rest of the way.

I have a mate who has been quitting since I can remember. I think he is just to cheap to buy any, he is always getting them from other people, lol. And they always ask, why dont you just by some? "Oh, I'm trying to quit"

ah yes, the shameful "if im not buying any, its more like im actually making an effort to quit" phase... bum bum bum until your friends wont give you any more cigs, and then you have to start buying them again

I ask myself that very same question but yet i still smoke. I gave up for 2 months when i quit the herb but soon started again. Like Hos said, i will quit but just not today.

Well done sir, i know it must have been tough.
