my dad had a problem with peeping toms and also a break-in that ended in a fire (he had shit people desperately wanted). He set traps all along the parameter, one of the things he did was put carpet tacks in the window seal. He did several other things as well, because people were hiding behind the bushes to look in. He also put stuff on the ground, underneath the leaves. Trust me, he got rid of them, I'll have to ask what all he did.
