Since a lot of people liked the pics I took in Macedonia, I'm posting a second batch. These aren't taken during one of my trips (Erzina sent them over), but since the scenery is incredible, I thought I'd share them anyway.
The pics are all taken near Lake Matka (artificial lake) and the Treska canyon which are located near Skopje, the capital of Macedonia.

Enjoy!
"The safest way is straight and narrow" (Sisters of Mercy)
Erzina and Besnik making their way down a slope.
Damn, you can almost smell the mountain air on this pic...
View on Lake Matka
The ideal spot for taking a relaxed piss in the rivier
Erzina and Bona: gotta love that local wildlife
Making a statement near one of the numerous caves
That's it for now. I'll post the pics I made in Shapka (Shar mountains) last December anytime soon...
ps: you all know that the Balkan is an area which has been catching up with our standard/quality of life since the war during the 90's. But you're dead wrong if you think that for example Macedonia is still stuck in the Middle Ages. Guess who gave the decks a nice beating in Skopje last weekend? Yep, Hernan Cattaneo! Gotta hand it to those South East European guys: class A taste
