It isnt really my business what you converse with your family about, but man Adam here's a little something to stick to your forehead....
no matter what.... there is a clear line of distinction between friends and parents.... you can "confide" and "discuss" problems in life with your parents as you would with friends.... but for you to say that the purpose of having family so you can be stupid tells me that either you're running out of friends real quick or someone didn't tell you what lines you can't cross with family vs. friends.
I'd take a bullet without without batting an eyelid for my mom and even act really stupid just to make her laugh but man you I would never see me bring up titties in a conversation with her. That's just crossing too many boundaries on so many different levels....
