I need advice on how to record streaming audio shows on the internet from cool prog house web radio like frisky, proton, etc. What is the best software for recording and converting web radio into an mp3 file, is their any free software that i can use, that some of you great contributors are using right now, please adive and thanx in advance.

thanx Jula I noticed that audio tools link after i had started the thread, sorry, anyway since you provide us w/ exelent recordings of all these sets what programs do you use for ripping web radio and converting them into mp3, also what program do you recommend to fit a 800mb mp3 file into a cdr or split into two, thanx bro

streamriper... and you don't need to convert, this prog save stream file as .mp3
for splitting --> HJSplit
