Go with GStoned (the label of Tosca, K&D, Peace Orchestra). Also look for any Thievery Corporation album, also Bill Laswell . If you can find a band called Side Steper you'll have cool tropical music (electronic salsa)NicomaxComment

^^ Ahhhhh.... it actually turned out to be one cool ass evening. played a lot of nu-jazz, cuban hip-hop, latin based house, some funk and some of my original stuff (the downtempo production work). had another dj there to scratch and do drops over my original stuff and the place was packed... did so well we're doing it again (the night) and doing my original stuff live (another show) at the end of May. As lousy as my expectations were any kind of crowd would have been nice but seeing as how I never spin out anymore and the fact it was, from a Cincinnati music aspect, more "accessable" it went incredibly well."only dead fish swim with the stream..."
