my late freind took amphetamine @ his first rave and died infront of us...really heavy stuff...apparently he had died because he had a hole in his heart which he was born with and the doctors told his mum @ birth that he wouldnt live for more than a year and he lived for 27 years the crazy bastard.

like people have said previously in this post it can happen to anyone anywhere anytime...how many clubs/clubbers have you heard about with people not knowing what there doing with drugs and also clubs turning of the air con etc to sell more liquids @ the bar...it happens..it can happen to anyone.

Its always sad when this happens, and it can also threaten clubbing and the certain level of freedom that we are afforded to take certain substances. Responsible clubs leave the air-con on and provide free water - the likes of Cream always did, and they had a medical crew on hand just in case.

Parting smartly eh ! Knowing your substances (and the strength of what you are taking are key), as well as not mixing (which applies to booze as well). I've taken the odd dodgy pill in the past, that's why its always best to start with half to gauge the strength - old but wise advice !

You got it. It was in the back of Gold Rush on Hwy 60. Big ass warehouse and MARZ had some kick ass lights. That place was pretty bad ass for a breaks party. Did you ever go to Liquid City jibbs? It was at the corner of Bearss and Skipper I think. That shit was crazzzzzzy!! I think that opened around the time the Fantasy Ranch was closing for the first time. Boy those were the days for the Tampa scene. Of course it was all breaks but shit I'm not going to lie, that was some of the best parties I've ever been too. The music was great then but now if I heard that shit I will kill myself. Then again that was before I knew what real music was.

yeah i went to liquid city a bunch too. just about every party they threw there i attended. goddamn it was hot in there. nothing beat Fantasy Ranch back then though. with two levels. upstairs being for the truly drugged out. god i miss that place. each time i drive by that intersection i have a small flashback. my car got towed from fantasy ranch on my b-day one year. i bought a bunk 10-pack that night too. wasnt a birthday to remember thats for sure. those were the daze.
