GranT from .AUdio on Proton has pulled through once again. This time he's sent over the high quality versions of the recent livesets from Anthony Pappa and Dave Seaman recorded at Livewire that were broadcast on the last .AUdio show. You can tell that these were sets that were played out live due to the high intensity and the fact that they are slamming - not a dull moment in either one! top stuff...grant is the choon fiend...i was at this gig...it was slamming stuff....but what im really after is the paolo gig that happened the weekend after at candys apartment...if grant pulls that one out...woooooffffffffffffffffffff....so i hope you read his grant...let us know what the progress on that one is...

These sets are from Livewire in Sydney, not Melbourne. I would love to be able to release the other half of Dave Seaman's but Dave said he only wanted the second half of his out there - which is a shame, because the first half rocks! Also the mash-up between Pappa, Seaman and Paolo is.. well.. amusing! I think we'd all had one hell of a big night by the time that rolled around so no surprises that won't see the light of day. (Well, a second time anyway!)

Yep, I'm working on this constantly. I did record the whole set, and it turned out far better than these two Livewire ones when it comes to audio quality. Livewire was recorded using my emergency backup recorder, and it was done through their sound desk - but at Paolo it was my new recorder (Archos AV500 - woo!) straight off the rec-out of a Xone 92. Righteous.

Paolo's will get a release, but the biggest hurdle has been getting a copy to Paolo - he's having some internet dropout dramas now that he's back home again which is slowing things up a bit I'm afraid. We're trying to work around those though - and if he can get to listen to it this weekend, then it'll be on .AUdio this time next week. Unfortunately I can't release it without him getting a chance to have a stab at it ...there's some tunes in it that can't get a public release without us doing some editing/voiceovers for commercial reasons.

If it doesn't see a release next week, then it will very likely be on my June .AUdio installment. This coming weekend I've got the okay to do recordings at three gigs in Sydney as well, plus another two next weekend - so there's heaps more material coming... ! So much music, so little time!
