i think you have to use it for a while before you get to send invitations, but it is by invitation only in testing stage :wink:

i havent tried it, but hear is f00kin awesome

Like i said, i dont really use the account I have so I dont know personally much about the ads and stuff they cater to you...but the ease and cool things you can do with it is awesome, and its super fast

i'm using it, and it works great.

the combo gmail + firefox is excellent.
I used 15 invitations, and didn't receive more though i use the mail regularly

what? spyware? of course it has ads... just like hotmail, yahoo or any other "free" email service. At least they are only text ads, but that's not spyware. Worried about security? then don't use a free mail for important stuff...

My opinion: it's great. Has a lot of good ideas to organize mail, and the 1gb limit is perfect for using as storage. Oh, and hotmail wants me to pay for lousy 250mb? with ads? yeah right...
