Re: Mazda3
Why would you buy a Mazda? They have a horrible track record. Seriously, stay away. You might as well buy a Dodge Dart.Comment

i have a mazda3 and its a good drive imo ... if u're looking for a real good drive ... get a mazda6 instead ... but mazda are not that good in terms of making the most of your $$$ fuel consumption wise from japanese cars imo ... if you're looking for something like that get a toyota ... decent drive but excellent on the fuel consumptionI broke my spoon on the viagra sundae.Comment

Re: Mazda3
Depending on the vehicle, you'll get good mileage out of a Toyota. My wife had a 4Runner and obviously SUVs don't get good mileage to begin with but this thing was horrible. It was only the V6 and she got like 15/16 mpg. Talk about shitty. She's got a brand new Expedition now and it's got a 5.4L V8 300hp and she gets the same mileage out of it. LOL @ Toyota
Okay, I steered off a bit. Obviously, the nerdy econo cars will give you great mileage. I mean, you'd need that great mileage to go pick up some pizza and a video so you can come home and cuddle with mommy in front of the boob tube.Comment

Re: Mazda3
Mazda 3 is a great car imo. Small enough to drive around town and even comfortable for long distance drives. I was seriously considering getting a loaded 3. It comes with most options you'd want that the upper scale cars come with and even some stuff that the doesn't come on the Mazda 6 (at least when I was test driving them about 2 years back).
Stuff like GPS, HID's with manual level adjustment from the drivers seat, 6CD in dash MP3 changer, ManuMatic shifter, Rack & Pinion Steering (same as that on the RX8 ), all wheel ABS, and a Gargantuan Glove box big enough to fit an entire laptop (possibly even 2 thin ones) really made it a worthy package for about $22,000. And yes they are even great on gas, 35 is what the company estimated which is pretty darn good considering the price of gas AND if you do a lot of long distance driving.
I'd say go for it, I personally like the car a lot and it's still one of my small car favorites. It essentially depends on your needs/use/budget and for $22,000 its a worthy package

Re: Mazda3
I bought a new Civic EX not too long ago. A year after I bought it I was hit head on, luckily it wasn't my fault, but while my car was being fixed I rented a loaded Mazda 3. I liked it much better than the Civic...just as good gas mileage, quicker, roomier, more fun to drive, etc...It was my first time driving a Mazda but I would consider it for my next car.Gooch...Comment

Re: Mazda3
Try to put on as many miles on the Mazda as a Honda and tell me this...
1. How much did you have to pay in repairs in order to make the Mazda last almost as long as the Honda?
2. Why did you scrap the Mazda so early? It didn't last?Comment

Re: Mazda3
5 year bumper to bumper warranty Beanie, thats the idea of getting a new Mazda3. A friend of mine got one for $13,000, 5 yr warranty (includes anything that breaks). The other option is a camry possibly.
It was fun while it lasted...Comment
