    Re:: Favorite Steak Recipe?

    my recipe is

start with a basic BBQ sauce as a base. use about half the bottle.
    add.
    2 tablespoons of mustard.
soy sauce and terryaki sauce to thin the sauce\
    salt
    pepper
FRESH garlic, cut very thin, (think if the jailhouse chef scene from goodfellas)i use an entire clove.
a dash of franks red hot. (not much)
    1 orange(juice)
    1 lemon(juice)
    1 lime(juice)
    a pinch of onion powder.

mix and add a 1/4 cup of olive oil, blend all ingredients except the garlic, then add it.
let steak sit in mixture for about 3-4 hours.

    grill.

to add a damn good topping, start this the day before.

take a red onion, or 2, and slice very thin like onion rings, but thinner.
    soak in regular milk overnight.

next day, make a mixture of flour, a little cornmeal, salt, and pepper. coat the onions in it and deep fry em at a high temp. top the steak with em and enjoy, these also work well with chicken

    ENJOY

A nice 22 oz. Porter House (Certified Black Angus of course) with just some salt and fresh cracked pepper. Seared on the hotest part of the grill 'till its Medium Rare. Then a glass of the finest Red (preferably a Bordeaux, or a Super Tuscan) to wash it down. NO Veg or Starch. Just BEEF

Hanger Steak rubbed with a mixture of salt, sugar and red pepper, and herbs de provence grilled over hard wood and finished with red wine & shallot butter.

I ended up cooking my steak that night, with only some garlic salt, crushed red pepper, and some hp sauce. Even though the grill went out a bit early, it still tasted damn fine. Thanks for all the ideas, everyone... Now I have lots of ideas for next time
