    FAO any big DJ Miles Davis fans

    Radio 3 has a cracking Miles Davis schedule to celebrate (what would have been his 80th) this coming Friday 26th May : 16.00 p.m. "Jazz Legends - Classic Albums" 22.15 p.m. "Mixing It" a review of his electric period, and the icing on the cake, 23.30 p.m. "Live in Rotterdam", an archived BBC recording from 1969 with Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Dave Holland and Jack DeJohnette. While this live set may be dark and pretty twisted, I can't wait to hear it (particulary as Shorter is a genius) ........ nice !

    This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
