he got the sending offs right though. all three. the american announcers where just being biatches.
the Spanish announcers on Univision disagreed with Pope's card. Mainly the first one where the guy was grabbing him and then fell and Pope got the card. I think that the second card to Pope should have been a warning due to the fact that is wasn't intent and the high stakes on the game. Thats just my opinion. nevertheless the game is over and we will see what happens on their next game.

                          Re: World Cup 2006

Then better watch a video of previous Games because in the Shape he is nowadays, he might ruin the Picture you have from him. Some big football nations have the same problem Germany had a few Years ago..the old "stars" are too old to compete with younger players but still try to stick with the Team. Watch how Brazil plays when Ronaldo leaves and Rubinho comes in...totally different (and better because more flexible) Game then. When I see what Zidane or Figo are playing, I think it would be better for them to just quit. Maybe they should have done that before the Championship started already because they are no real help for their Team anymore. Of course I can understand the wish of a Football Player to quit with such a huge tournament and all the sponsors and fans supporting the decision to stay but it does not pay off in most of the cases and good football players can also ruin their reputation if they don't find a good exit point to bring their career to an end.

^^^^ Its funny because Ronaldo is only 29.Thats still young and he is too beat up from injuries. the same thing happened with Maradona. He got fouled one 2 many times and as he got older, his play became less.

Even though I can't stand Brazil, I have to give it up to Roberto Carlos and Cafu. Carlos is 33 and Cafu is 36 and they are still running up and down the field like they did in the previous world cups. Never being seriously injured helps a player
