I actually developed a huge appreciation for soccer/futbol during this World Cup. I think what I realized is, I can appreciate competition at the highest level...no matter what it is. I watched the final at a kick-ass party at a friend's Mexican bar. Free Tecate and Modelo Especial, free pizza, chips, dip, 46" big screen with the game on....it was blast. Went to my friend's soccer game after that, then went to his house and played Winning Eleven for the rest of the night. That's the most soccer I've been exposed to in one day since I was a kid.

I'm not saying I can watch any soccer game on any day, but I'm definitely past my "SOCCER SUCKS!!!" days.

Italy played one good game (maybe two) against germany thats all

and thats the truth!!!

they havent fucking shut up about it here!!

they didnt play that great!!! they were an embaressment against the USA and Australia.

i definitly didnt want france or germany to win it. Portugal should have never been there, we just didnt out play then on the day (fucking England we're always the same).

So in a sense i am happy that they won it. they just lack grace about it!!! Anyway, i'm sure Moggi payed someone somewhere, exactly as Mussolini did back in the '34!!!!

"if you want my shirt so bad you can have it"
Materazzi responded
"I dont want your shirt you m***** f*****. you're a f****** old man"
As they jog away Zidane is seen to laugh at this and it is unclear how he responded due to him having his back to the TV camera
Materazzi then hit a volley of abuse
"you should've quit 2 years ago, you're a f****** has-been"
"m***** f*****! your mum is a f****** muslim terrorist and you are to,
f*** you old man f*** you"
"old man, this arena is not for you anymore m***** f****. Your sister is a whore and the whole Italian team has f***** her"
"f*** off you bald c*nt"
Zidane carries on jogging away

"you are only good enough to play for Man Utd"
It's at this very point Zidane turned and head-butted him.

its on the mainland from Venice. Who knows what street I was on when I took it, but the town on the mainland is more industry than something for tourists. Why are you looking at the building? WTF? I posted it for the flare
