freeeze tag: Why Iceland? Ever been there before? Fan of Bjork ()? Just curious because I've always wanted to go there because it looks so beautiful but didn't think that many Americans shared my same idea.

i share your idea, ive wanted to go to iceland for awhile now. Its all about the scenery and the blue lagoon.

I've been there for Airwaves for the past 5 years...and love it there.

Yes, prices will be a shock to most people. Paying $12 for a single cocktail might seem a bit high...or a $40 dinner...but it's all worth it.

The people are great and friendly, scenery at Gulfoss (sp?) and the other falls are great. And you must see the Puffins!!!!

I remember NASA for nightlife....and it was so-so...could have been better. I personally liked Astro but don't think that's around any longer.

If you want a good variety of people, going there during Airwaves is a great time. You get people from all over the world...and it's a blast.
