All of that and more. It's somewhat eclectic at times. While listening to cd 1 I heard Lump for the first time. James played that as his encore when I saw him in San Fran, Anu a few weeks ago. Good stuff.

I've got promo copies, listened to them, but can't stand the promotional copy voiceovers. Can't wait to get my copy.

I've had it for about a month.

It's good, but not as mindblowing as everyone makes it out to be.

I'm sick of reading people saying in threads on other boards "Oh you just don't get it, it's too sophisticated for you, bla bla bla."

They make out like he's the first person to ever do something tripped out.

I loved disc 1 of his Balance effort because it was quirky and had melody and rhythm. This new compilation doesn't have much of that, but cd 2 is still decent and has a bit of a beat to it.

Brilliant album. I especially liked CD2 and this album is timeless. I am sure I can listen to this puppy in several Years from now without thinking that it sounds old. There is only one track I can't stand at all and skip it all the time when I play the CD...Black Strobe - Nazi Trance Fuck Off! (Holden Mix)

^^ double ditto on the "Black Strobe" track.... ugh.... For the record I'm not the biggest of Holden fans. I loved is early stuff but I think he now tries too hard sometimes not be "formulaic" in his production work... all in all though this is an enjoyable listen.

that track makes disc 2. it just comes out of nowhere especially being a lead off Egoexpress - Live At Sirius Prime; such a soft melody, i think it was Jame's point to put that track in there ... it is finally where he lost control. such a beautiful song just screams eat my ice cream and kick me. uber filth and darkness. it just creeps in and without that track i think the disc looses weight. very important track. i think if you remove or skip you might as well not listen the cd's. being a D&B head it is nice to hear synths that just are consuming and have plenty of electronic noise. soon all songs will be like this and fluff will die forever.

                    it's outta control.

ps. you are geezers. fluff is for kids. synths are for men.

i saw it on amazon for $26, but i was hoping it was going to be release in the US.
i like buying cd's from indie places and not online places like amazon. but i dont see it showing up in shops round here i buy cds from insound online, but they dont have it ...
guess i will probably get it from where you did....

nah mate, nothing wrong. Different strokes for different folks and if everybody liked the same stuff, Music would be boring as Hell. I appreciate Holden as a producer and think that this album is the most mature compilation he has released so far with diverse crossover sounds from many Genres perfectly blended into an integral whole.
