that's one baddass gift!!! i want to go to a UFC show sometime this year, but need to find the time. i will comment that you must be pretty delusional if you think gracie is going to do ANYTHING to hughes. they're doing one hell of a job playing his old fights, making people remember what a badass he used to be. but people don't realize that that was 10 years ago! today's mma athletes are a totally different monster, and hughes will be putting gracie's old ass in it's place !

umm. im all for hughes, but if he gets on the floor, gracie is a lot better. have you ever seen him fight? he has beaten two ppl over 400 pounds and used to fight a lot more. hughes has to pound him while they are standing or he is in trouble. gracie will just play defense until he sees the oppurtunity for a set up and then its over. remind yourself that gracie has only lost one fight and it was a doctors decision to hold him out of the round for dehydration. either way i wont be sleeping much.

gracie was winning againt the heavyweight guys back when the big dudes had almost no skill. plus, he has won the majority of his bout (all in ufc) while wearing his gi. a gi is no longer allowed by rules of the ufc, so his advantages on the ground are much less. he won't have the fabric to help him grip, or use it to choke (which he's done early in the ufc) his opponent. i give him maybe a 10% chance of winning...
