              wouldn't it be awesome if they got a re-chargeable battery dyno'ed into the motor and while a charged battery will provide the juice for the electorlysis and help the motor to run, the running motor will in turn run the dyno and recharge the battery.... in which case, the only intervention would be that of the human to supply the water....

              wait, why dont they build battery powered cars like that

                    I'm sure if it was possible then we'd know about it, electric would be nearly free, we'd be driving electric cars and no need to rely on middle eastern oil.

                      ^^ oh yea I remember seeing something about it on Discovery a while back. They had the show on energy where they also mentioned that while "signals" could be sent wirelessly (as in wireless radio controlled cars, etc.), you couldnt transmit beams of energy / electricity wirelessly. I dont remember the specifics of it (saw the show about 8 years ago) but I'm sure in time they'd work out a solution. It's biggest implementation would be covering the enormous distances of space travel.
