stella is an average to slightly above average beer- on tap. it's not nearly as good as it's hyped up to be. For a "Belgian" beer, it's way behind the other beers that come out of that country.

complete agreement. there are at least two dozen beers from the land of jan that i can think of. one word mare'dsous. try that beer and then call me. its like 14% alchohol and tastes like honey and great beer.

sam addams double bock, chocolate sout, louds from englad, rogue brewery in oregon, turbodog from alabama, brooklyn lagers and porter, coal porter brewing comp, and many many more. just cuz its the best beer you can get at the supermarket, doesnt mean its actually good.

http://www.rogue.com/ go there, and read up on their brews. you will be really surprised. i order from them a lot.

I know what your saying, and i agree, far better lagers around. With Stella it's not just the taste but the drunkeness. I'm sure MJ will tell the same.

If were talking about getting hammered, beer is not a great way to go anyway, I stick with vodka on the rocks. At this point, beer is like wine, best for pairing with food.
