Palmer here in Sydney we're lucky enough to be able to get Franziskaner on top. It's one of my favourite wheat beers because it seems thicker than the rest.

Mind you Australia is producing some great wheat beers now too - Red Back Bitter is taking Australia by storm.

Hoegaarden Grand Cru goes down as probably the best beers that I've had. I was in love with that stuff the minute it touched my lips.

My fav beer of all though is another Aussie one, James Boags Premium. I'm lucky enough to drink this regularly and I would have no idea what to do with myself if I couldn't get it. If you're in Australia try one. It's typical of Aussie beers in their bitterness, but with a taste which is second to none. Having said that though it seems the rest of the world doesn't like their beers bitter like Australia does.

They say that US beers are like sex in a canoe... to close to water to enjoy it. I find Stella a bit light still, so I've been drinking Australias' Fosters and Heineken lately. Not too expensive and good quality. Some Canadians like Molson and ice Labbat also do the trick.

I agree,Australian beers are really good. Too bad they don't bring them to the US. Colombian is also really good, if you ever go there try a nice and cold Club Colombia

you call stella light? but you drink heineken.

heineken is about the most boring tasting beer out there. i'd rather drink a budweiser. however, i will admit i drank heineken for roughly 2 or 3 years around age 20-23. now if i drink one it gives me a headache.
