My pops is on the way over there now to clean up the bongs and all that good stuff and then he is going to get the cops out to print my bedroom door. Thats the room where the money was stolen from and I have to close my bedroom door in order to activate my alarm so I know I closed it before I left for work.
You know, since they evidently got in through your garage door, there would be no sign of forced entry whether it was you, your friends, or some random off the street. I certainly don't know how to do it, but I can't imagine that cracking a garage door code is rocket science -- plus, they sell replacement remote control openers, wouldn't it just be a matter of finding the right frequency?
I feel your frustration, and I obviously don't have all the facts, but if there's nothing else to point to your friends, the fact that they accessed your house through the garage door isn't really all that telling, IMO, especially since they evidently don't know you keep that kind of cash lying around. And the watch? They were probably just looking for cash, and probably in an incredible hurry. Who knows if they even noticed it? If I were scrambling through a house trying to grab as much valuable stuff as quickly as possible, the bathroom probably wouldn't make the cut.
Just saying, you ought to be pretty sure before you start making accusations to your friends. The cash you can replace -- friendship, though, is another matter.

any possible way of seeing when the codes were accessed to open things? (try to figure out when they came in)

As dumb as me! I just called the alarm people and got the info on how to change the code from the garage code. whoops
let it be a lesson to all. When you break up with a girl change the code. It could be her new boyfriend for all you know. As far as the Rolex being there that is a little weird..
and toasty if they had an opener don't you think they would have been more prepared to steal more?? Sounds like a friend or ex girlfriend to me..

That sucks dude, be glad you aint that stupid and keep "all" of your money under your bed (of all places). But like what's his name keeps on saying. Have the Cops dust for prints and match them to all your friends who would know the code.. and start eliminating perople one by one.
Just let your friends know it's normal "police" procedure to do this with people who know the code. That way it does not look like your accusing them. tee hee.
My pops just called me at work and said he just finished with the cops at my house. They took some prints and checked with a couple of neighbors to ask a few questions. Basically they told my dad to have the locks changed and be thankful that all that is missing is money.
