Starts off really nice and twisted ... after the half-hour mark, it kinda droned on a bit.

I gotta say lately I've found almost all branches of dance music to be so predictable it's not funny. Progressive, and all other types of house included. Even breaks. It's all the same.

The build-ups, the break-downs, I know exactly when they're coming and exactly what they're going to sound like. There seems to be a mould for each sub genre that all the producers have been using. Hell, I even found James Holden's new cd to be mostly predictable rubbish (surely I'll be flamed hard for that).

This mix however, was original and there wasn't a predictable moment to it for the entire hour. I had it on in the background while I browsed the net, and it kept throwing me off that each song didn't move in the direction I had in mind. The whole set was like this.

I'm gonna be giving this more than a few listens. It's not a banging set (although I'd be interested to hear something banging in a style like this). I thought Lisle had slightly lost it after he moved away from the dark, moody breaks found on the Argentina and 2004 Kiss mix. But this man has clearly been doing his homework. Excellent work Mr Lisle. I can't wait to hear the album!

PS: The track at the 27 minute part is so awesome it's not funny.
