depends on the picture. if it's a simple image with few colors and sharp lines, use the magic wand, and adjust the tolerance as necessary. otherwise, the eraser is your best bet. practice makes perfect.

Use the pen tool to outline what you want to remove. Create a selection from your pen path and hit the delete button.

You can also use the extraction tool under the filter drop down.

You can always use the polygonal lasso to trace what you want to keep, then press Shift + Command + I, to invert the selection, them press delete. I found this to be the easiest and most precise way. Make sure the layer you are working on isn't locked.

Music is the answer, to your problems. Keep on movin', till you solve them.

because they have tricks of their own....and is easier to ask on here than look at google and read 10 pages of what i dont need........

                    besides they are friendly

there are plenty of video podcasts on itunes to help you with your conquest of photoshop.

And BTW, those are really nice images.

Why is it that you always come out with smart ass comments like this. This part of the board is for those who like to swap ideas and share their artistic work, if you have nothing constructive to say then keep your nose out. You have been told before, you won't be told again.

Go tell it on top of the mountain bro!!!

It looks like you used the burn function in those images. I've been lately getting into that by way of a great tutorial on www.computerarts.co.uk
