At the core of everything MAZI does is a restless drive to innovate. Whether he's behind the decks, crafting music in the studio, or working on his own Gourmet Recordings label, Mazi's goal is the same: to keep challenging boundaries and perceptions.
This approach has focused Mazi throughout his twelve-plus years of making dance music. He has released over 150 productions and remixes, and DJ'ed in every corner of the world; but his sound is constantly evolving, a creative process that shows no signs of slowing down.
DJ?ing has always been Mazi's first passion, and after 16 years behind the decks his recent sets have been particularly inspired. His sound touches on the electronic house style that has put labels like Brique Rouge, Crosstown Rebels, Poker Flat, Get Physical, Freak n' Chic and Mazi's own Gourmet at the forefront of underground labels.
Come join us this as we present Gourmet Sessions with Gourmet artists Mazi & Nathan Larson (a.k.a. House of Black Dress).
Also playing this night will be Sleepy & Boo who have been making waves in 2006 with there Basic NYC parties as well as there monthly parties at Pacha NYC.
Opening the night with a special B-day set will be NYC?s own R3K!
