Hmmm, that's weird... can't say I've ever come across it. But then again, I only run NOD scanner and Norton, don't like McAfee... How about you try to install a trial version of let's say Panda or another scanner, shut down McAfee and run the other scanner? Maybe that'll work. If you manage to get the virus out, switch McAf on again.
well, it cleaned up all 12 of my virus's but wouldnt get rid of the spyware unless i purchased.....so, i bought spydoctor instead....and that thing found 498 instances of spyware, lol....hahahaha hoohoohoohoo!!!!!! yeah, gotta stop lookin at the pornovision on the pc plus, i think the reason my pc kept shutting off was because it was so damn hot...like really fucking hot!!! the fan is still working........so, i grabbed a large ice pack from the freezer and put it underneath my entire laptop...probably a no no, but its working thanks for everyones help
hahaha i think they just acumulated over time....my other spyware thingy was outdated, and i didnt run my virus scan regularly like i usually do...been slackin
