recovering from the Lawler set now, lets see, this was the first time i've seen lawler live and was wanting to groove to deep dark ie. Lights Out vol, 1 ... lawler wasted no time setting a good mood, third track was Rodamall- Insomnia amazing record on diggers show three weeks ago. well crowd likes, steve started climbing and climbing and always kept that tribal sound evident. the set was a real crowd pleaser big buildups and he turned toward a darker electric house sound, was hoping to hear that Swain Colingworth track on GU ...crowd didnt move as much so back to the big building sound and it seems like @ buzz then the bar closed down its truely "Light Out" for something special from lawler. was thinking i should see him @ his Harlem nights in UK. overall a good showing played 3 1/2 hrs and there was those heavy hitting tracks in there, give it a 7 out 10.
