Im not sure what started this thread, but I have seen several other members complain about the quality of conversations lately. I have also seen some very rude replys to women and gays, so there must be an obvious problem. I agree with asdf, that we should treat each other with the upmost respect and dignity- we are all here for the same reasons (I would think) and that MS should be used as a valuable resource tool for networking, data sharing, and ultimately, meeting good peeps.
It's not like he grabbed his balls and sucked his dick. It's not like he gave the Saudis the original copy of the Constitution to use as toilet paper. It's not like he gave away the secret recipe to the Colonel's chicken. .

word. that is exactly the point. have fun but be tasteful in the fun. and bring something to the plate. if you want to bitch about something go ahead and bitch about something, but at least provide an alternative. if bitching continues ... kiss you ass and ms days good bye. frankly we are sick of it, and we need to do some house cleaning.
Good to hear something is being done to change things around here. Lately I don't bother posting as I get attacked, or the threads are just beyond ridiculous, that I don't bother.
Hopefully things change....I really like coming to this forum, heck look how many posts I racked up at the beginning....now it moves at a snails pace.

its all fine and dandy to take the piss and have with people.. but when there are repeated personal attacks on peoples religion, sexuality, gender, etc.. it just gets really old.. its not really even the fact that its really offensive, it is more so tiring as far as I am concerened. I dont post near as much as I used to, but a lot of that has to do with just being busy with other stuff. But ms has been a fixture in a lot of our lives for the past 3 or so years, and some of us have met in person some really great people and made some really good friends.
So as keyboard said.. some house cleaning may need to be done, this is to keep the integrity of this community in tact...

"the real world" outside of this board is perceived differently by each of us, obviously...I'm under the impression that it takes more effort to bring something to the table, be positive, etc... some of the ignorance is just a joke, some of it is an actual reflection of the lens that the member see's life through, other's are projecting their own ____ because they need somewhere to do it, and need the attention. Mod's need to prob. do a better job of filtering, especially if they are the one's annoyed??

where is the intelligent conversation threads in the first place? im all for engaging debate on the interweb, but every other thread here is about:
a)sasha or john digweed
b)some internet tidbit newsclip
c)some personal shit happening in someones life
d)some miscellaneous shit
sorry to say, i like this forum alot, its a really great community, but i dont come to [ms] with the idea that i'll be checking out some mind blowing intellectual threads when i get there. this is a dance music forum not the mensa forum. there can however be more intelligent discussion to happen here, its funny that certain people (sakio pod) want to point fingers, i just come here to joke around primarily and download sets and shit. If you think this board has gone to shit, its gone to shit long before i arrived here.
