Sorry, but I didn't have the media to thank me for my thoughts on this one. Those are my opinions and the first thing that entered my mind.
And it wasn't a coincidence. N. Korea knew what they were doing.

so they're 0-7 on their testing thus far.
Granted it could still happen, but man they're probably a good 10-20 years off before they could develop the T to fire all the way from there and hit the US with a payload. Or develop something that they could sell off.
S. Korea and surrounding countries on the other hand...no problem if they really want to start up shit over there.

Kamal is actually right, I doubt we have little to be afraid of. It's everyone else who does. Interestingly enough no powerful nation on earth has tried to blow us up since the Brits left after the War of 1812 (you could argue the Japanese, but they attacked to try to break our trade embargos and blockades not to destroy us). I doubt we will be attacked.
But that doesn't mean we shouldn't kick this guy's ass in every possible way, shape and form. The Japanese and Germans built up huge military forces for a decade. We sat around with our thumb up our ass like everyone else. Funny, nothing really happened to us. I guess as long as you're okay with genocide, pacifism is a pretty convincing argument. Natural law has placed as at the top. Pacifism is negligent abuse of our responsibilities.
BTW driving a car provides people with substatial utility and people have decided driving is worth the risk. As far as I know, there is no utility associated with being the target of a nuclear bomb.
