I was in hospital over the weekend with a prolapsed disc in my lower back. Boy did that hurt. I did some heavy lifting Friday and got stuck coming down the stairs on Saturday morning. The ambulance crew had to give me 10 ml of morphine just so I could make it the rest of the way down the stairs, then another 10 when I got settled on the ward. Now I'm home and relatively pain free, but I've got reduced sensation in my left leg and a constant tingling. It's going to take weeks to get back to normal if ever!
Anyone else with dodgy backs (or other arts of their body - knees are always a favourite).
