Re: What do you think about Deep Dish?
well most of the time a 1 to 2 hour set is released. which is a tiny portion of one of their normal sets. i think if more of their recordings came out that were, say around six hours we'd get a true feel for their capabilities. just heard a dance dept set a month or so ago from them i really liked. cant remember the date of it though. -
Re: What do you think about Deep Dish?
i first noticed them when i was in college and the dorm radio station had their junk science cd. i noticed that tracey thorn was doing vocals for "future of the future", so i "borrowed" checked it out as i have always been a big ebtg/tracy & ben fan, and i thought the cd was good stuff.
i started listening to their dj sets alot when diggers started up his kiss100 shows and i happened to catch the show from the start (with deep dish as the first guest djs from what i remember), and i listened to mostly all of the kiss100 shows from about 2000-2005, so i was a pretty big fan of theirs all thru that time when they would be on here and there, plus the random livesets i could find on the net. and plus when they started their yoshitoshi / shinichi label they were putting out alot of kickass tunes there for a while.
i havent listened to their george is on cd yet, nor kept up with them lately..but i would like to hear how they sound now..just my opinion..Comment

they can easily go either way. when they go dark, they're as good as anyone. the problem is, they tend to go through parts in their sets that are very cheesy. however, the first yoshiesque cd is still one of my all time fave.Comment

the first half of cd 1 of yoshiesque sounds absolutely perfect, its amazing how well those tracks go together. i can listen to the mix from Jark Prongo/Wave 2081 to Departure Lounge Feat. SOR/Dep Lounge 2 (Vocal Mix) every day it is so sweet...also i must say i really like the toronto gu mix, and especially the individual dubfire and sharam afterhours mixes. too bad i am not too keen on the moscow mix though.Comment

I love the majority of their artist work and remixes, reworks, mixes, etc. They are quite the fun.

I saw Sharam few weeks ago in Ljubljana and the show was great for most of the night but at the end it got wierd - he started to play Madonna and commercial stuff like that but I guess it was the right way to get us all out of the club
Here's a short video of that night (I dont know how to attach a file so I uploaded it)!

Music is essential for the expression of non material ideals and energies. Music colors our surroundings with emanations from the highest vibrational fields. It allows us to escape all limitations in our thinking and very existence.
