only the first 3 pics are Ghana so far. Hope to head out and take more tomorrow, but i'll be taking a local friend of mine with me since it's just not smart to walk around with my white ass and a cam, snapping everything i see. I might easily get harassed or mugged, and basically it's like asking for it IMO.
I had a huge update prepared, but since exactly today I cannot use my laptop, I'm gonna have to do a quick write-up to keep you guys satisfied.
Ghana is FUN. But also...well...I don't know. Easy going is the word I guess...just don't get too upset about anything and you'll be just fine. Like I told Alex in another thread, I got this cray ass fucked up German guy in the room next to me (thank god I still have TomTom to equal the balance here), being a total asshole to his wife. Maybe I just will sort him out before I move onto the uni campus next week...that lady is real cute and what the fuck is she supposed to know about getting a Visa anyway? He's trying to get her to Germany, but she's not used to the bureaucratic hassle it all takes, so when she doesn't get it he slams down a few Star beers and gets all idiotic on her. we'll see what happens this week, but he seems like some loser that is really dissapointed in life, and now he cannot even control his African wife either, lol...
On a different note: I could've taken the sexiest chick with me this week, if it weren't for the fact that she's a hooker. But goddamnit, did she look sharp! Holy smackers...but for sure I'd get the whole package of STD's included with the fuck, and it's too much trouble trying to get 3 rubbers on one dick at the same time anyway, so skip it. And I've got a lovely lady who's in China right now who I love too much anyway (still got 7 weeks to go though...

About robberies: I hope I won't have to run to save my ass from getting sliced by a machete a some point, but I heard that one guy (one of the volunteer's friends here) almost got his throat cut a while ago. He was smart enough to put his hand on his neck to stop them, but it cost him 3 of his fingers. Pretty fucked up story IMO. Most of the volunteers working here for a year or longer have been mugged at some point as well, so basically I'm just calculating it in for myself. We'll see what happens, and my mother won't get to know this cos she'd get scared shitless. One fun story I heard as well: a group coming out of a restaurant got robbed at gunpoint (AK-47's), and had to give up their car as well....but the robbers didn't know how to drive an automat!! So one of the people had to give them a crash course in driving that thing with the barrel of an AK on his temples, can you imagine that? How bout just running away with what you got, but noooo...it's not funny, but at the same time hilarious, especially since Ghanaians sound really funny when they're upset or angry - I guess I'd be pissing myself from fear and laughter at the same time!
Well, I'll lave it at this for now, got much more to say but my time is limited...
