Dammit, sightless, I want to rant, don't be getting all level-headed on me.

You're right, it's not that bad and overall I've actually been pretty happy with their site considering the hassle and cost of buying vinyl in the past. I guess I've become spoiled. But lax customer service has always been one of my pet peeves. It's nowhere near as bad as some other places like Satellite Records for example, those jackasses would have been better off if they just hadn't answered their emails at all.

Those places are great if you want to buy prog/electro and don't mind paying out the ass for it in some cases. However, last time I checked those sites don't offer the style of music I need much less a good selection of the tracks I'm looking for.

....touche' and you're right about their customer service and some of the music quality by the way.... gone south the past year imo.

BP won't let me log in, no matter how many times I try or how many different browsers I use... their flash is majorly wonky IMO.

Our team wanted to let each of you know about a recent issue created by the new Flash version 9.0 for PCs (Mac users can ignore this email.) Macromedia/Adobe released a new version of Flash that is creating a log-in issue for all Beatport customers who use the Firefox web browser and the new Flash version 9.0. IF YOU HAVE THE NEW FLASH 9.0, A PC, AND PREFER FIREFOX AS YOUR BROWSER, you may have difficulties logging in to Beatport.com. Specifically, when a user tries to log-in, the log in area will not update to show the user that they have successfully logged in. There is a simple workaround if you experience this problem. If you try to log in and get this error, simply hit the refresh button on your browser and the site will re-load with you logged in. You can also use Internet Explorer or Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org/download.html) as a workaround.

Again, this is only for PC users with the new Flash 9 and Firefox as their internet browser. Our team is working hard to resolve the issue.

they have been having issues for a while yeah.,.. plus EVERYONE goes there for tracks.. I rarely use them anymore
