Been to a Hybrid gig in Athens a few days ago, and omg did they kick ass! They were f**king excellent! I never expected Hybrid to sound and perform so good live, so that was really a surprise.

Anyways, my question is, does anyone know which hybrid track is the one with the "the H the Y the B the R the I the D" sample?

they were playing at Coachella Festival this year with John Graham (Quivver) was singing with them. i had no idea John could sing. i would have loved to have seen that.

I LUV their new track they offer for free (see 1st article on the site) to promote the upcoming album..some people will surely say this style is old and worn out but that's the kind of Hyrbid tracks I want to hear and I hope there are more of this kind on the album.

They're playing on Extrema (HOL) the 15th of July, will check them out for sure!

They are only doing a DJ set at Extrema. Their actual live dates are very limited over the summer.

Seen them plenty of times doing the DJ sets. I'd kill to see them give a live performance. Do they still have a travelling DJ with them on this tour?

When I was living in Prague a few years back, I was hanging out with the resident dj from the Roxy, Joel Einhorn, was the night of the Tyson Holyfield fight. Anyhow, he had John play at the Roxy a few times and was on a personal level with him. John gave him a copy of some studio stuff he had been working on, which I got to hear. It was a lot of down tempo beats using a real trap set and John sang on mulitple tracks. I had no idea he sang either and Im glad you just confirmed that for me. I would probably give my left nut to get ahold of whatever it was I heard that night...very, very rare. Any others know of this?
