    Standup Comedy

Heading out on a longish drive tomorrow, anyone got any recommendations for good stand-up shows to pass the time, preferably those that would be available on iTunes? I love Lewis Black and Dave Chapelle's standup stuff, but I've heard most of it already...

    TIA

    Re: Standup Comedy

Killing Me Softly should be re-listened to whenever someone has a long drive. Its too funny not to pass up.

Some other good ones are Dane Cook albums. This guy is really stupid but in a good sense. Even his new reality show on HBO is a riot.

Robin Williams HBO special is also hillarious.

Paul Mooney's 2 albums, i forget the titles, are also a must have.

Any George Carlin, especially Complaints and Grievances.

I have this Kevin Pollack album live from SF in 2005. Still havent listened to it, but he is usually real funny in my book.

Try to find a greatest hits or a boxset of Richard Pryor.

Martin Lawrence Talking Shit from 93 was hillarious back in the day.

Andrew Dice CLay 40 too long

Pablo Francisco is funny, but i havent heard much from him to be honest.

Ohh i got to support one fellow Canadian: Russell Peters from Toronto. This guy is too funny. Insane stuff. His skits he does of Indian people (he's part Indian) are painful its so funny.

If you need any of these, hit me up by AIM or messenger.
    Peace

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

ROFL @ Sam Kinison. That dude was awesome. George Carlin has always been a great one too. Good job, people.

And also some sound bits of Bill Murray and while you're at it, just fucking put a whole collection of 80s movies on audio files and listen to them without the video. They're still classic.
