if they had any fucking clue about law in general and the word jurisdiction they would realize that neither the US, nor, the UNn have any authority over a group of nations forming a coalition based upon a common natural resource. we can outlaw thier products in the 50+, but then we would be paying triple what we do now, begging canada to tap thier northern feilds, which lie below a few thousand feet of ice and mountain.

whats even funnier is that OPEC doesnt actually control the price of oil anymore. Canada is the world's biggest oil supply now, by quite alot, and along with several other countries let the price of oil be determined by supply and demand. OPEC has nothing to do with $70 oil. Peak oil, china, unrest in Iran and Nigeria...these are things that have contributed to the high price of crude.
