i'm so stoaked........ flew back for the job fair at rosen's new hotel shingle creek golf resort, 1500 room hotel 455,000 feet of meeting space, 4 pools, 10 food outlets, 18 hole golf course....opening on september 9th its fucking on!!!!!
Yesterday was the offical food and beverage job fair for the hotel....my girl and I went to go apply for full time banquet servers, after accepting transfers from the other 2 rosen hotels they had 20 full time banquet positions open. I've been doing banquets for 8years now and have worked my way up to the best of the best hotels i'm currently employed by The Ritz-Carlton and have been with them for 3 years....opened the orlando property in 2003 and transfered out here to the las vegas property last year.
We decided we needed a change from vegas and the ritz, and they're ways so we took the chance and flew across country for one shot at getting back to our friends and family. Needless to say we smoked the interviews and have both landed the full time slots, not to mention an increase of about 20k easy.
