    Les Claypool

Probably wont be much interest in this but anyways...

I saw Les Claypool this weekend and i was just amazed at the talent of his band. It was one crazy mindblowing tripped out show . Les and his bandmates sure knows how to get into your head and rip you apart.

Some wierd stuff but mostly mindblowing jams and sounds. Definatly soemthing that makes you realize that live music still is where its at.

His present band touring for his new album consists of

les playing bass, a femal sitar player (indian instrument that ravi shankar plays), a zylophone, tribal drums, regular drums, a saxophone player....and many effects for all of those instruments

definatly a bit wierd but parts of it were just incredible sounds and jams that would please any music fan. def reccomend this to anybody who has a broad mind and taste in music.

Sounds like a cool. Les Claypool always comes up with whacky band names but can definetly play some tripped out music.

i believe we went to the first night.

dave navarro started the opening melody of "ocean size" then WHAM! perry got hit in the head with a boot and left the stage.

btw, that was the second boot that hit him that night. after that he was like, fuck this shit, and they booted.

i'm just glad to have heard "three days" live. it's still my favorite track by them; a classic ten minute epic that has so many layers.
