    Tour De France 2006

Anyone follows the Tour? Who do you think will win?
    My pronostic:
    1. Landis
    2. Evans
    3. Hincapie
    4. Kl?den
    5. Fothen

Hey Domi, long time no see

To be honest, even though Tom Boonen is world champion, cycling isn't my cup of tea. I already gave it a few tries, but there's too little action imo...

Good thing that Armstrong isn't riding anymore. Makes it a tad less boring.

Some people like to watch cycling others don't
I watch the tour every year since 1991, the year Indurain won his first of five... I'm addicted to the 'action' in the tour but I can understand it's sometimes boring to see a flat stage if you're not an addict like me :-)

No offence Jenks, but that was a pretty crappy statement. The Tour isn't an inter country competition and even if it was, the French haven't had a Tour winner in 21 years...

Im sure it's early in the stages, give the french time, they eventually lose at everything.

Been a fan of the race and the sport as well since '85. Glad to see Lance out of it. Too much about one person in a great sport. Yeah, yeah. Shut up about it. I miss the competitions but still watch it on tv. I was laughing pretty hard when I heard about the eleven guys that were banned prior to the race start. Who's gonna win it? The dude with the boils on his ass.

Have you been seeing the coverage on the race this year? It's fucking hilarious how idiotic the local (USA) press is about this whole thing. It's like the sports reporters have never really followed the race at all. "Oh he's way out, so much for his chances now." Fucking idiots.

The Phonak team has confirmed the speculation that Floyd Landis returned a positive A sample after his win in stage 17 of the Tour de France. "The Phonak Cycling Team was notified yesterday by the UCI about an unusual level of Testosterone/Epitestosterone ratio in the test made on Floyd Landis after stage 17 of the Tour de France," said the team in a statement. "The team management and the rider were both totally surprised of this physiological result.

"The rider will ask in the upcoming days for the counter analysis to prove either that this result is coming from a natural process or that this is resulting from a mistake in the confirmation. In application of the Pro Tour Ethical Code, the rider will not race anymore until this problem is totally clear.

"If the result of the B sample analysis confirms the result of the A sample, the rider will be dismissed and will then pass the corresponding endocrinological examinations."
