Sasha & John Digweed @ The Roman Arenas, Bucharest (Review / Vids / Pics)

So, last saturday night I saw Sasha & John Digweed for the first time together in Romania. It was a great party, outdoor location, immense hype, good sound system and of course some fine ass music from the two djs mentioned above..

Sasha started with something very similar to his Instant Live Cd1, not very dance-floor wise but a good listen nevertheless, building the anticipation and hype even higher than it already was. After an hour or so John got to the decks playing some (mostly) minimal-techno influenced tracks (his first track was Rekleiner - The state of things) ; it was a very natural flow from the point where Sasha left the things running; (Sasha left the crowd wanting for more and Digweed delivered). The transitions between the two were also very spectacular, with both of them working together on the decks and ableton.

Fast forward into the morning, Digweed unexpectedly plays the original/clean version of Ame - Rej (very outdated imo) and then Sasha ends up with some tracks from the WMC afterhours set (best part of the party for me), including Editors - Camera;

nice review and thanks for the pics and vids...

any chance of getting larger versions of those pics as they are all thumbnail size.
even when you click them they are still tiny.

The view from the stage is awesome and I totally love the tank top of S&D as South Park characters. Good stuff.
