Let's say Iran does get more involved and launces some sort of strike on Isreal. What do you think the response will be? Can the U.S. actually take on Iran militarily at the moment (using conventional weapons at least)? Is the UN capable of launching offensive missions, not just peace keeping?

you clearly dont realize the size and capability of the US armed forces. only china is comparable. right now, the only reason they call the forces stretched thin is because that asshole rumsfeld tried to depose a dictator with a quarter of the force that should be there. this is also leading to the massive spending. god forbid the US ever had to mobilize on a scale of WW2. trust me, im not trying to talk shit, but if they ever got the politicians out of running a war, and let the generals run it with a blank check, honestly, we could essentially take europe. it is the feircest thing on the planet. thankfully, people opt not to use it. 1.4 million active, another million on reserve, not including our US based coast guard, nor the special forces that are not spoken about. roughly 32,000 aircraft including helicopters, over 10k marine vehichles, more nuclear warheads than russia coudl ever imagine, and a lot of pissed of rednecks. and a lot of loud guns. sorry, but too many common misconceptions out there.

if iran had any common sense, they would back off and stay away. because once you see this, its all over for you. tell ur god you're on ur way. because in about 3 minutes, the bomb it just dropped will go off and level your zip code.

what can you say at this point? its just too bad for the people who dont care abotu this shit and want to live a decent life that a small group of hate filled assholes do this every few months/years. there is only one thing that is going to happen here. isreal wins, the rest of the world will see to that. so until then, its up to the lebanese and palestinian peoples to out the vile element from their society. in regards to the inncocent kids in the pictures. while children, they lose thier innocence when thier parents allow them to be near the vile element. you cannot accept the fact that the enemy doesnt wear a uniform, and stays within the population.

Thats something like 0.11 people killed per sortie. Whilst granted infrastructure is being demolished, the IAF and IDF is doing everything to minimalise human loss.

Back to WW3, if it does kick off then who the fuck would mount an attack on the West? The worst case would be massive terrorist action in Europe and USA (if we joined in that is) other than that i suspect other than Israel, no other unfriendly middle eastern country would have the technology or resources to mount an attack on europe let alone cross the atlantic. I'm sure once Iran has nukes then it would be a different story, time to build a shelter.

also, MUCH respect to lebanese officials for ordering thier army to stand down and allowing isreal to get these violent groups out. i just learned about this, and actually, it garnered a lot of respect on my account that they arent reacting, but allowing this to go on, hopefully eliminating a group that would otherwise continue to wreak havoc on isreal and the rest of the region. weird, but yeah, i actually respect that they understand that they cant do it themselves, and someone finally got as pissed off as america with these cuntz. hard stances are the only way with criminal elements. now if only america could apply it to their criminal law ans sentencing.
