In his time Ricky has played all over the country from legendary UK rave events such as The Eclipse Club and Amnesia House through to the mid 90?s premier club nights the Ministry Of Sound, The Cross, Wobble, Leisure Lounge and so on. His blossoming popularity led him too be invited to play across the world, from Argentina to Brazil to Hong Kong to South Africa, The Philippines and all over Europe.
In the Mid 90?s Ricky started producing with studio partner Derek Kaye under the name ?Kayestone?. As producers they wrote many tracks including the classic ?Atmospheres? and ?The Warning? which was originally released on Whoop! Records, later signed to Distinctive due to massive public demand. This single led to large amounts of remixes including BT?s classic ?Fibonacci Sequence? Hybrids ?Kids? and the opportunity to re work the classic ?Sueno Latino?
Following a relentless worldwide DJ schedule in 2002 Ricky decided too take some time out and settle in one place, this place was Hong Kong. The reason? a two month residency at the city?s ?C Club? where he introduced Asia to his trademark progressive and breaks sound. Following this hugely successful residency Ricky was invited to tour Asia and it was here he fell in love with the way of life or in his words ?The clubs, the culture and the great positive attitude?. Two years later, Ricky now regularly spins in Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, China and Jakarta and has achieved a massive fan base throughout.
2004 saw Ricky go into overdrive, having returned to the studio with fellow Ex Pat and super producer Dan F (Disuye Records) the pair have joined forces as ?Sinosine? and released the critically acclaimed ?Two Systems/ One Country? through Mob Records in the UK. Ricky also endlessly toured the planet, started his own radio show on Eccentric Beats (www.eccentricbeats.com) writes his own regular column for global clubbing website Resident Advisor (www.residentadvisor.net) charting his rise to DJ superstardom and supported Sasha on his tour of Asia.
2005 will see Ricky continue this ascent, with numerous projects in the pipeline that will see Ricky transcend the status of simply being ?just a DJ?, the first three months will see Ricky tour Latin America and the United States followed by a month tour of Europe, with the UK being pencilled in for the end of April.
