well, if anything I'll always carry a knife from now on, bcause something else has occured too: my best friend here turns out to be my biggest enemy, and he has borrowd 100 dollars in total from me, he was supposed to get it back but today i got taken off my bed to the police station to hear that I was charged with conning him out of 150!!! WTF...imagine being thrown into a tiolet that serves as a cellar and a big ass guard wants to have a go at you with his knuckes: I can fight, but this guy was huge. And he was already sure I did it. Gonna cut this update short because of time shortage, but fuck me, we settled the matter for now and dropped both claims (so i lose 100 bucks now) 0- my contacxts reach far though, and my main contact knows a few with a police, so the fucker can expect a nice visit later this week, heheheheheh....

will keep you posted, but this morning's ordeal has hurt me a lot and I'm having a splitting headache right now. Imagine that...usually they take you to the station and beat you up, then ask questions. I got lucky again, but this time I'm going to have my revenge!

Be travelling end of next week, at least I'm away from this place then. On a brighter note: yesterday I went dancing with a group of togolese people here, and I acted in a little play - that made my day, really...They're all Ewe's, and those are the people that I speak the lingo of. They are also considered to be among the most relaxed and honest people around West-Africa...
