I hear ya. For me that would be the closing party of the first edition of the City Parade in 2001. I'm not a big fan at all, but he did set fire to a crowd that had been dancing through the streets for 12 hours straight.

old school PVD was amazing. twilo material wasnt nearly talked about enough. back in the days of his nasty acid german house dropping at 135-138 bpms.

he had this show on liquid todd's solid state one night that i came across and it was PHENOMENAL

I don't know.... for those of us that have been around a little longer. PvD is definitely one of the guys that got me to where I am right now. I go back and listen to the old shit pretty often. Old Oakenfold sets, PvD, early tiesto.... whatever.

The scene currently doesn't have the same kind of resonance that 1997-1999 had.....
